BUSD Impact Awards

The Bellevue Union School District Impact Awards recognize the outstanding achievements of the BUSD community. The nomination process provides a systematic method for identifying individuals, and ensuring they receive appropriate recognition for their efforts on behalf of BUSD students. 

These awards are designed to recognize stakeholders who truly stand out within BUSD:

  • Educate to Impact The nominee works to ensure educational equity, access and support, by demonstrating a commitment to high-quality instruction.  Instructional staff (e.g. teachers, counselors, school psychologists, speech language pathologists, principals, substitutes) are eligible for nomination.  
  • Support to Impact - The nominee works to ensure advancement in equity, and support by demonstrating exemplary leadership skills. Non-instructional staff (e.g. classified staff, district office staff) are eligible for nomination.
  • Learning to Impact - The student nominee demonstrates a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and academic excellence by showing leadership in their school or community. Students who take initiative, uplift others, achieve academically, and positively impact their peers and school environment are eligible for nomination. BUSD students are eligible for nomination.
  • Volunteer to Impact – The nominee contributes to meaningful educational outcomes and community engagement by demonstrating a commitment to supporting students, staff, and school programs. Volunteers (ex: community members, parents/guardians, mentors, nonprofit partners) are eligible for nomination.
