Prior to joining the Bellevue Union School District, Ms. Romo-Flores was a Continuous Improvement Director for the Sonoma County Office of Education, where she supported 7 school districts. She was also the Director of Curriculum, English Learner Services, and State and Federal Programs for Santa Rosa City Schools. In addition, Ms. Romo-Flores served as principal for thirteen years and was recognized as Administrator of the Year for her strong support of student achievement. 

Ms. Romo-Flores began her career as a bilingual elementary school teacher and has experience teaching at the primary and intermediate levels. In all of her roles, Ms. Romo-Flores strongly advocates providing all students with rich and rigorous learning opportunities. She enjoys working alongside the dedicated and talented staff of Bellevue Union School District in serving wonderful students and families.
