Kayla joined Bellevue Union School District in 2014 after graduating college from California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelors in Food & Nutrition and a certificate in School Nutrition. She has experience working in school kitchens and occasionally will stand in as substitute cook or food server for her staff.
We believe that good nutrition helps to create a solid foundation for enabling children to learn. Food Services mission is to prepare students for learning by providing healthy, nutritious meals that are cooked on site using fresh food. We will incorporate a variety of healthy, affordable foods in a clean, friendly environment.

Food Service Program
The Department of Food Services oversees the School Breakfast and National School Lunch Program offered to our students. Bellevue Union School District offers diverse and healthy options for our breakfast and lunch programs. The menu is published and sent home each month. You can also access the menu below.
Cooking on Site
We began cooking our own food at Bellevue Elementary School in 2014-15 and expanded to Taylor Mountain in SY 2015-16. Meadow View hopped on board with the cooking program at the start of SY 2016-2017. We keep growing with each day!
Free and Reduced Lunch Program
We participate in the State and Federal Free and Reduced Lunch Program. Families are encouraged to submit an application for participation. Applications should be turned in to your child's school office
